John Hyde has been a first call recording session player, a freelance jazz bassist and a classical bassist with many organizations, including the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra and the Tommy Banks Band. He has freelanced as a jazz and classical bassist with The Eric Friedenberg Group and the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, and has composed, collaborated and created with many artists–including Ralf Buschmeyer and Jeff Drummond. John continues to strive to create better sounds and improvisations.
